My name is Shivaani, and at 25 years old, I’m embracing life with confidence and purpose. Born and raised in Singapore, I’ve always felt fortunate to grow up in such a safe and vibrant country. Currently pursuing my degree in Biomedical Science, I aspire to make a profound impact on society by alleviating human suffering in the realm of medicine. I am passionate about working in challenging environments that foster personal growth. Since I was eight months old, my grandparents have raised me as their own. Their unwavering support has been crucial to my journey, and I’m deeply grateful for their love and encouragement. They have provided constant stability and inspiration in my life.
Growing up, I loved dressing up and posing for pictures, which earned me the playful nickname “vainpot.” In my free time, I cherish moments with family and friends and also work part-time as a pharmacy assistant. This role gives me valuable hands-on experience in medicine, complementing my studies in Biomedical Science. My grandmother always dreamed of seeing me shine as a model. When I shared my decision to join a pageant, her joy was overwhelming, and it felt like I was fulfilling her dream. Joining the pageant has been a transformative experience. It has helped me become more comfortable in my own skin and has taught me the importance of self-love and appreciation. I’ve learned that if I don’t love and value myself, no one else will. This journey has been a powerful step toward self-acceptance.
To me, being a queen is not just about external beauty. A true queen embodies inner beauty—she cares deeply for others, remains humble and kind, and doesn’t let fame overshadow her true self. Genuine beauty shines through in her actions and character. As Miss Global Model of the World Singapore 2025, I am committed to representing my country with pride and excellence. My mission is to inspire young girls to stay true to themselves and rise above negative opinions. By building confidence and self-belief, I hope to encourage them to pursue their dreams and overcome any obstacles they may face.
